How to choose the decorative plywood?

1. First of all, we need to judge from the appearance of the plywood. The surface of the board should be flat and flawless, and the signs should be complete, without dead knots, digging, leaking glue, cracks, worm holes, etc. In addition, the whole plywood should be flat, no warping, and placed upright. The corners should be straight, and when the whole stack is placed, each plywood should be completely fitted.

2. Check and judge from the side of the panel. The side of the panel is also the truncated surface. From here, it can be carefully seen whether the thickness of the core panel is uniform, straight, whether there is overlap or separation. Observe whether the core wood strips are decayed, whether there are cracks at both ends, whether there are gaps between the wood strips, and whether the splicing is tight. Generally, the core board of good quality blockboard is straight and uniform in thickness, and the wood strips of the core plywood are free of decay and cracking, and the splicing is tight. Measure the size of the blockboard, especially the thickness of the blockboard, whether it is consistent with the nominal thickness.

3. To measure the gluing quality of the board, the board can be cut into a 76mm × 76mm, and it can be boiled in hot water at 63°C for 3 hours. Observe whether the glue layer on each end face of the wood blockboard has the phenomenon of glue opening and the degree of glue opening. Generally, the glue layer of the blockboard with good quality usually does not appear glue opening phenomenon.
