When the mdf board is veneered, the details that should be paid attention.

density board veneer: Simply put, it is a decorative board processed by attaching other materials to the surface of the density board plain board through a certain process.

veneered boards are generally divided into three types: material veneers, veneer veneers, and PVC/PU veneers.

At present, the most widely used material veneer: it is to soak paper with different colors or textures in the material resin adhesive, and then dry to a certain degree of solidity, then pave it on the surface of the substrate, and heat it. According to the color of the veneer, it can be divided into: black, white, cherry red, beech wood, ash, oak etc. According to the surface layer treatment of the material paper, it can be divided into: smooth surface, hemp surface (coarse, fine Linen, velvet), relief (large relief and small relief). According to the process, it is divided into double stickers, single stickers, hot stickers, and cold stickers.

Veneered boards is also called paint-free board, mdf decorative panels and ecological board

The specific process is as follows:

1. Hot-press veneer: Adopt high temperature and high pressure process to paste the dipped paper on the surface of MDF;

2. Cold press veneer: under normal temperature and pressure, apply white latex on the surface and paste the veneer paper (divided into manual paste and roller paste);

3. Paste PVC paper: After spraying "fish bead glue" on the surface of the board under normal temperature and pressure, roll the PVC paper;

4. Blister finish: it is a kind of PVC paper, first spray "fish bead glue" on the surface of the mdf board density, heat the PVC paper with high temperature, and use a negative pressure machine to suck and paste the PVC on the surface of the density board after the PVC paper is softened;

5. Ordinary paint finish: brush or spray on the surface of the board with polyester paint or nitro paint, and air dry naturally;

6. Printed veneer: Directly print patterns on the surface of the density board, which is a kind of paint veneer;

7. Paint finish: Use high-temperature baking varnish to spray on the surface of MDF, and then bake at high temperature after low-temperature drying.

What details should be paid attention to when veneer of MDF?

1. Moderate pressure: generally 2~3MPa, too low will affect the bonding strength between the substrate and the impregnated paper, and too high will damage the mdf veneer panels.

2. Hot pressing time: depends on the curing speed of the impregnated resin and the hot pressing temperature, generally 40-50s is appropriate, too long time will cause the resin to over cure, lose its due elasticity, and cause cracks in the subsequent processing. Warpage, too short time, insufficient resin curing, easy to cause sticking phenomenon, and affect the performance of the product surface, affect the durability of the veneer mdf board.

3. Processing substrate: flat surface, uniform sanding, moisture content controlled at 6%~10%, high moisture content causes bubbling and delamination in the veneer process, low moisture content causes hot pressing The surface cannot be well wetted and the paperboard delamination occurs, and the density is controlled between 680 and 880.

4. Corresponding process: When the thin mdf board is hot-posted, if the board produced by the domestic production line can only be single-posted, not double-posted, otherwise it is prone to bursting. If it is a thin board produced by an imported production line, it can be used. Double stickers.
